On 13.09.2023, a program was held at the Divisional Secretariat to award land permits and grants to 210 persons. Galle District member of Parliament Hon Sampath Athukorala , Southern Provincial Land Commissioner, Deputy Land Commissioner, Assistant Land Commissioner and, Divisional Secretary, Assistant Divisional Secretary and others were present on the occasion.
